Introduction
Acquired, benign lesion with little potential for malignant transformation.
Pathology
- nests of melanocytes in dermis
Clinical manifestations
- dome-shaped, polypoid, pedunculated
- skin-colored to black
- may be indistinguishable from basal cell carcinoma
- no crusting or ulceration
- may have associated telangiectasias
- stable size
- soft

- observation for change
