Introduction
- Large class of protozoans consisting of obligate parasites with simple spores lacking polar filaments.
- Cilia & flagella are absent (except for some microgametes).
- Locomotion is by undulation, gliding or body flexion.
Pathology
- trophozoites are forms of sporozoa
