Introduction
Named after Dubna, Russia, the site of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR). Discovered at the JINR in 1967. A team from the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory confirmed the discovery.
Occurrence
does NOT occur naturally
Characteristics
- 5 known isotopes, all radioactive
- Db-262 has longest half-life - 34 seconds.
