Introduction

Release from intracellular stores upon Ca+2-depletion activating I-crac [[[A18975|Ca+2]] release-activating current], a plasma membrane Ca+2 current which serves to replenish cellular Ca+2 for Ca+2 stores. The factor is able to diffuse or is transported into the extra- cellular medium.
