Indications

symptomatic relief of non-productive cough

Dosage

100 mg PO TID-QID
maximum: 600 mg/day

Capsule: 100 mg.

Adverse effects

uncommon (1-10%)
- sedation, headache, dizziness, GI upset, nasal congestion, skin rash, burning sensation in eyes, numbness in chest Mechansim of action:
topical anesthetic^[3]
