Laboratory
- serum chemistries
- hypocalcemia
- hypophosphatemia
- elevated 1,25(OH)2 vit-D
- elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH)
Management
- high-dose calcitriol
- mineral supplements
- relapse may occur despite continued treatment
