Introduction
One of the 5 of the most populated protein folds:
- immunoglobulin fold
- oligonucleotide-binding fold
- Rossman fold
- alpha/beta plait
- TIM barrels
It occurs as an ATP-binding domain in the N-terminal region of amino-acyl tRNA synthetases.
