ETS DNA-binding domain

Introduction

A conserved domain of about 85-90 amino acid residues, found in ets family proteins. It is rich in aromatic & positively charged amino acid residues & is involved in DNA-binding (purine-rich). The ETS domain is the human homolog of the drosophila protein E74A.
