Introduction
More delicate layer of connective tissue inside the epineurium. Flattened cells on the inner face of the perinerium may form continuous epithelioid sheats with occluding junctions. The perineurium may consist of several layers, each layer surrounded by a basal lamina. Thus the perineurium may form a barrier to diffusion of molecules into & out of the nerve.
