D test for antibiotic sensitivity

Procedure
- Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strain is cultured with erythromycin & clindamycin.
- It is positive when the MRSA is resistant to erythromycin & resistance to clindamycin is inducible.
- In this case, the bacterial growth pattern around the clindamycin looks like a 'D'.
