- expressed during development in brain, lung, liver, & kidney
Pathology
- locus 3p21.31 region that contains LZTFL1 gene confers twofold increased risk of respiratory failure in patients with Covid-19
- LZTFL1 may regulate epithelial-mesenchymal transition in pulmonary epithelial cells in SARS
