• reconstruction of cosmetic disorder
• reconstructionn of head & neck cancer
• cutaneous ulcer refractory to medical therapy

Procedure

• involves a tissue flap in which the vein & artery are disconnected at the donor site & reconnected to the vessels at the recipient site with the aid of a microscope
