Origin
- dorsalis pedis (1st dorsal metatarsal)
- arcuate artery (2nd-4th dorsal metatarsal)
Course
- runs on dorsal aspect of interosseous muscles of foot
Branches
- medial & lateral digital arteries, supplying the dorsal aspect of the medial or lateral sides of 2 toes
