Introduction
A benign disorder characterized by mild hyperbilirubinemia secondary to either a beta-glucuronidase that metabolizes bilirubin diglucuronide or a fatty acid or steroid (5-beta- pregnane-3-alpha-20-alpha-diol) that inhibits UDP-glucuronyl- transferase.
