Etiology
- frequently associated with acute cholecystitis
- gallbladder sludge in patient with hepatolenticular degeneration[3]
Clinical manifestations
- pain on palpation of the right subcostal area during inspiration
- pain results from descent of the gall bladder during inspiration to the area of pressure exerted by the examiner
