Introduction

Painful/tender, compressible blue swelling in variant of capillary venous lymphatic malformation (cavernous hemangioma).

Clinical manifestations

  • Tender, compressible blue swelling
  • size: a few mm to several cm
  • may exhibit localized hyperhidrosis
  • often occurs multiply on trunk & upper arms
  • similar lesions may occur in the GI tract
