Introduction
Occurs 2 weeks to 2 years post cardiotomy
Etiology
- most likely autoimmune
- anti-myocardial antibodies
Clinical manifestations
Laboratory
increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
Management
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
