Pathology
- combined serotonin & catecholamine deficiency
Genetics
- autosomal recessive
- associated with defects in DDC
Clinical manifestations
- developmental & psychomotor delay
- poor feeding
- lethargy
- ptosis
- intermittent hypothermia
- gastrointestinal disturbances
- onset is early in infancy
