Indications
- prophylaxis for venous thromboembolism
- prevents DVT after total knee arthroplasty better than enoxaparin[1]
Dosage
- 200 mg QD
Adverse effects
- hemorrhage may be less than with enoxaparin
Mechanism of action
- antisense oligonucleotide
- reduces the level of factor XI
